Inhale. Exhale. Just Breathe.

Stop what you’re doing and breathe.

Right now, take three deep breaths, using the 4-2-4 technique.

While counting to 4, breathe in through your nose, filling your belly.

Hold it for 2.

Breathe out through your mouth for 4.

Hold for another 2.

Repeat the cycle two more times.

Notice how you feel. When was the last time you consciously took a deep breath?

And yet, something so simple can do so much.

It can relieve stress.

Help calm.

Lower your heart rate.

Help lower blood pressure.

Increase energy.

Detox your body.

Aid in digestion.

And, it just feels good.

You can’t tell me you don’t have time for this. It only takes a minute.

You can do it while you’re driving or while you’re standing in line. Take a few deep breaths right when you wake up or before you go to bed.

There really are no excuses.
